The court loop
Petitions can change funds, faction satisfaction and your Sovereign style. Before choosing, compare the request with the active ultimatum and upcoming quest deadlines. A small optional payment can matter if the current objective also requires a treasury reserve.
After audiences, visit the Tower's available conversations and facilities. The Gallery unlocks rooms, the Forge supports equipment maintenance, and the Intendancy lets you investigate Knights. Read a returned quest report before advancing a linked story: accepting an assignment and receiving its outcome are different steps.
Match Knights to the actual job
Start with the quest's required attributes, duration and remaining deadline. Then compare the Knight's current equipment, injuries and traits. A matching stat total does not erase a disliked quest category or a special named-character outcome.
Do not use one character's starting stats as a permanent build. Chester is an especially clear exception because his reported stats reroll. Edith has a locked sword and story-sensitive traits, while Tarcus can produce politically unwelcome results even on a quest suited to his Wits.
Plan around branches
The Gavault/Groveshire opening affects later recruits. This site's walkthrough supports Groveshire and Silgur; Brunhilda and Tarcus need their own Gavault decisions. Goberto and Dulahan illustrate another tradeoff: keeping an early Knight alive and opening a death-linked replacement are different aims.
A useful save records the cycle, county allegiance, living roster and the choice you want to compare. If your mode permits manual saves, preserve one before a recruitment, death, transformation or relationship commitment.
Use rewinds with a question in mind
The official premise allows learned information to open different choices after a rewind. Return to a particular audience to test what the Sovereign now knows, rather than assuming every item, alliance and relationship survives intact.
The Demon Power guide includes the original discussion author's correction about corruption. Old advice that the mechanic has no consequences is not a sound basis for a route plan.
Reading older guides after patches
This update uses official patch information through 1.1.0 alongside attributed community route accounts. It does not claim the wiki personally replayed every branch on that version.
The most relevant changes include Carina's romance repair in 1.0.11, Oliver's rewind recruitment repair in 1.0.10, and new ending branches plus character fixes in 1.1.0. Follow the linked character pages for the specific change instead of treating all old bug reports as permanent restrictions.
