Knight record
Chester
The Goose clue, final invitation and why Chester has no fixed stat line.
A mysterious jester recruited through the multi-part Clean Keeper Goose route.
Follow the Clean Keeper Goose chain
- Accept the first Goose request during Act I; the recruitment account sends Angelica for this opening task.
- Read the second part's egg clue exactly.
- Choose the Knight or equipment matching that clue.
- Complete the special outcome and wait for Chester's return.
- Interpret the Goose's behaviour as loneliness and a desire for company in the final conversation.
The recruitment guide and Raider King profile support the overall chain. A generic “you're welcome” response is a reported risk at the final audience.
Match the egg clue
| Clue in the reported route | Helper or equipment described |
|---|---|
| Shiny or valuable eggs | Unreformed Gwendan |
| A bad smell | A Knight carrying cheese |
| A delicious aroma | A Knight with a Horse mount |
Use the text in your current quest rather than assuming one helper always works. The cheese branch links naturally to Goberto's story, but the equipment requirement still matters. The Gwendan branch specifically concerns his unreformed state; see debt and reform.
Why Chester has random stats
The community roster reports Level 15 and Armour 6, with each of the six stats able to roll from 0 to 15 when checked. The Jester trait is the explanation given for that randomness.
Consequently, there is no useful fixed STR/AGI/CHA/MAG/WIT/LCK table for Chester. A favourable preview should not be turned into a guarantee about a later check. Use him with that uncertainty in mind when a quest has a critical deadline or severe failure result.
His hidden Happy To Be Here trait is reported as liking all quest types, and the roster lists all six meals as favourites. Broad compatibility does not cancel the random rolls.
Chester's character and the final audience
The Goose chain connects Milkford's strange public problem with Chester's desire for company. The final interpretation is therefore part of the recruitment logic rather than incidental flavour text.
Show Chester route spoilers
If Chester does not return or cannot be invited, check that the special Part 2 result actually completed and that the follow-up answer identified the Goose's loneliness. A normal success and the required unusual outcome are not necessarily the same thing.
A complete Chester romance is not established by the partner sources used here. Personal dialogue and unusual quest outcomes should not be promoted as a proven romance route.
Next steps
Keep a save before Part 2 and the final audience if you want to compare clues or answers. Use the Knight directory for more predictable stat profiles, or endings when choosing the roster to retain for the finale.
The route and stat behaviour above are community-reported; official patch context through 1.1.0 does not provide a replacement deterministic stat table.
