Carina’s early introduction and the official fix for her romance route.
Meet Carina and unlock the Forge
Carina appears in the early court sequence as the blacksmith looking for her hammer. In Mahmud Munazil Rahman's Cycle 1 walkthrough, accepting her request opens the hammer-recovery assignment. After it returns, the Cycle 2 account visits the Gallery to open the Forge.
- Accept the hammer request when Carina appears.
- Complete the recovery assignment and read the return report.
- Use the Gallery's Forge unlock when it becomes available.
- Visit the Forge and follow Carina's subsequent interactions.
This explains how to reach her working location. It does not establish hammer recovery as the sole romance requirement or prove that each repair grants affinity. For the surrounding early-game sequence, use the Prologue–Cycle 8 walkthrough.
What patch 1.0.11 changed
The official 1.0.11 announcement explicitly fixes Carina being impossible to romance. It is therefore outdated to present the old fault as a permanent restriction on the character.

If the relationship does not progress
First check the installed game version against the 1.0.11 fix. Then revisit the Forge and other available Tower conversations after resolving current requests. These checks distinguish an outdated build or an unfinished introduction from an assumed universal romance lock.
The announcement does not document whether every older save repairs immediately or specify a save-recovery procedure. Reinstalling, starting over, or repeatedly spending money at the Forge is therefore not presented as a proven cure.
